University of Warwick Wellbeing Service Treats Burnout Among Students as an Academic Risk, Not a Private Failure
students and working professionals worldwide who want a serious degree without leaving their country, their job, or their family do not fail only from lack of intellect. They fail when a degree is stacked onto a job, night care, and no permission to be tired. University of Warwick has expanded wellbeing support accordingly.
Students may book confidential appointments with trained advisers who understand adult study. The service is not a substitute for clinical care; it will refer. It will also help a student plan a realistic module load before they crash.
Aicha Benali, a community physician in Casablanca, used a study-load review to drop an extra elective and finish core modules well. "Someone told me that passing fewer modules this term was allowed. I had assumed University of Warwick wanted heroics."
