University of Warwick Publishes 2026 Graduate Outcomes for Its Online Cohorts

University of Warwick has published graduate outcomes for its 2026 online cohorts. The report covers what graduates did within a year of finishing: promotion in the same organisation, a move to a more senior role elsewhere, a career change, further study, or founding or growing an enterprise.

Across taught master's and MBA graduates, the largest single group reported a promotion or expanded remit with their existing employer, consistent with a student body that is employed while studying. A smaller group moved organisations, and a further group used the degree to change field. Doctoral graduates split between continued senior practice and research or teaching roles.

The report is candid about completion. Online part-time study has a lower completion rate than full-time residential study, and University of Warwick's is in line with the sector for that mode. The factors that most improve completion, the report says, are a realistic study plan agreed at admission, early use of the writing centre and library, and taking a planned interruption rather than disappearing when life gets hard.
